About Me

Hello there! I’m Ms. Dasczynski, or Ms. D. I’m currently working as the EL (English Language) Teacher at Locust Street Expressive Arts Elementary. This is my third year officially being a teacher. I graduated in May 2015 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Stephens College. I received my Associates of Arts in Teaching Degree from Moberly Area Community College in May 2013. I completed my Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (PreK-12) through Western Governor’s University Online this past June.

I’ve always wanted to be a teacher ever since I was a little girl. I used to make my younger neighbor and little sister play school with me every day and I rarely gave up the role of playing the teacher. Teaching is my passion and I seek adventure in each and every day. Children are a beautiful mystery and they amaze me each day. I plan on sharing these adventures as well as my educational endeavors, professional development, diversity awareness, and other teaching tidbits here.

“I want adventure in the great wide somewhere. I want it more than I can tell.” ~Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve, “Beauty and the Beast”
